If you travel forty minutes north of Dallas on US-75 you will arrive at McKinney, Texas in Collin County.  McKinney is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and has been named numerous times as one of the nation’s fastest growing cities. Settlement started here in 1849 and McKinney served as the county headquarters for business trade and acquisition for a number of years. The city and the county were named after local congressman Collin McKinney. Today this city has a population of around 150,000 residents who live in this humid subtropical climate zone.
