A half hour north of Dallas on US-75 you will find Plano, Texas located in Collin County. Plano is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and is ranked as the ninth most populated city in Texas with a current population of around 270,000 residents. Settlers came to this area in the 1840’s and the extensive growth to this area began with the completion of the Houston and Central Texas Railway in 1872.
